    Description

    StairAide adds a stationary half-step to
    each existing step
    on your stair thus splitting the height of the original step to two short ones.
    The shorter steps dramatically reduce climbing and descending effort, making StairAide’s half-height steps a healthy, safe, simple, and effective solution  for seniors, people with arthritic joints, and post-surgery rehab and occupational therapy patients.  Reduced climbing effort promotes more frequent use of stairs and related daily exercise.
    StairAide is a set of small, wood,  furniture quality, half-height, blocks which are easily added to your existing staircase.   StairAide blocks are installed on one side of your existing staircase, occupying nine inches of each existing step’s width.  The blocks are designed for simple in-home installation, easily accommodating many different types of stairs and stairway configurations.
    This
    kit contains 14 half-steps and installation hardware.  Each StairAide step measures: 9″ x 9″ x 4″ (Width; Depth; Height). Single half-steps are also available upon request.
    StairAide half-steps are maintenance-free and do not require any motors, switches, batteries, or wiring of any kind and can be installed or removed with minimal impact to the existing staircase.
    StairAide is both durable, tested to withstand 1,100 lb of load, and attractive, featuring a red oak finish to compliment your home decor.
