Although the featured picture in this Mickey and Minnie Mouse alarm clock from Disney looks vintage (circa the 1930s!), it is not. This alarm clock is relatively recent.
What makes it unique besides the vintage-looking Mickey and Minnie, is that the clock resembles a very stylized airplane, with Mickey looking quite confident, sitting in the cockpit, and his wife(?) Minnie looking panic stricken. Priceless!
The "propeller" of the plane is really a moving second hand, which moves considerably slower than a real propeller, to be sure!
Condition is great. Looks like the previous owner painted the fake alarm bells with gray metallic paint, but he or she did a pretty decent job. Clock and alarm work fine on a single AA battery.
Clock measures about 6 5/8" high x 5" wide x 2 3/4" front to back, including the permanent kickstand.
Weight is 9.2 ounces, with battery, but I'll need to ship the clock by Priority Mail, since I want to cushion it well. Its shipping weight will definitely be over 1 pound.
