Description

A large, Chinese Imari porcelain mug, dating to the Kangxi period (1662-1722), Of slightly bulbous bell form and painted in underglaze blue with iron red enamel and gilding, with a jardiniere of flowers on each side. Measuring just under 6" high, and 4.25"  in diameter at the top rim. In good condition, apart from two manufacturing firing flaws at the top rim and shallow glaze chip, with an old crack around the centre of the handle ( see photos).
