Up for sale is a fine quality Chinese famille rose cup. It was hand painted in famille rose colors. The decoration on the body depict three graceful horses. Beautiful enamel and intricate design. The painting skill embodied was one of those best in traditional Chinese painting. The cup measures about 2 10/16 inch in diameter and about 1 6/16 inch high. It is in EXCELLENT condition with NO crack except for a small chip/flake at the upper rim which was skillfully filled long time ago (as you can see from our supersized pictures). Our pictures are bigger than the real thing to show you the extraordinary details. The real thing looks more beautiful and exquisite than my pictures can depict. There is four character DaoGuang reign mark on the bottom (1820-1850 AD). A famille rose style cup was sold on Ebay for ,247 (ebay# 390555432958).
