    Description

    The previous owner of this cup gave me this for my ebay sales.  I was given some back ground on this.  It is a rare hand painted piece.  The saucer contains a poem on the back.  The previous owner bought this at an auction and they told me what they paid.  It was a gift from husband to wife and sadly they were getting divorced.  The wife was kind enough to give this to me after it did not sell at a auction do to time.  The pattern is floral with a bird design. I do welcome information on this. There is no crazing and nothing is cracked.  There are a couple of imperfection spots, almost like dents.  I have so much china and no matter what I research I can never seem to find a matching piece.  I am pricing this based on what the client told me as well as the price tag that remains on it.  The previous owner was very well off and lived in one of the most expensive areas in Fairfield County, CT.  Therefore what they paid for this does not surprise me at all.
