    Description

    Beautiful #228 Swan Planter in Sorghum Brown (1951 - 54) on Ada clay.  The closed-tail mold began in 1954 so this piece dates to 1954.  Glaze is shiny and very nice.  Does have a tiny, grain-of-sand "bump" on one side.  Tiny, tiny!  One  tiny, tiny glaze fleck on rim.  Don't let that keep you from buying this piece - it's gorgeous!  Eight inches in length and 5 inches tall.  See photos and please ask questions before bidding/buying.  Thanks for looking!
